welfare reform 2012
I am still non the wiser does anyone know if the assessment will be carried out by our neurologist a gp or someone who has even heard of ataxia or will it be as in lonesomes case a newby forigner [no doubt cheaper]
im not sure but i can look in my welfare rights book ty
the healthcareproffessional works on behalf of the dwp,the hc proffessional compiles a report of the assessment which in turn is sent to a decission maker at the dwp i hope this answers ur question
Hello
I used to be a decision maker at the DWP so know the procedure. It's not what you say to the HP it's the way you say it If I can help I will.
Take care
Regards
Fifa
Does it affect you if you get it indefinate, my OT assesment officer helped me fill my form in and when I was accepted she said they could put me to a higher rate but not take it back off me. How will these changes affect that ?
i always tell service users to go by ur worst days and ur right fifa if use their terms such as quality of life and if u can get any supportive evidence from a health proffessional that knows UR personal circumstances thx jay and lynny bear
Can't see them doing away with the appeals criteria. Surely this would be a breach of human rights?
My Ataxia is progresive, but I also have C.O.P.D which is progresive as well . I am on the lower rate of mobility and care !!!and as I say my assessment OT filled in my form enclosing letters from DR, Hospital etc
UR CORRECT IAN TODAY ON THE NEWS IT WAS CLAIMED THE WORK TRIAL IS JUST SLAVE LABOUR THAT WAS SAID BY THE HIGH COURT
It might be helpful to have a look at the information provided by the government - it's actually rather good.
See here: dwp.gov.uk/pip - the 'home page'
