Some people are deficient in VitD..this can cause balance issues. I was tested and found to be normal..I’m diagnosed with Idiopathic Cerebellar Ataxia.

Balance Therapy exercises…supervised by a NeuroPhysiotherapist can be helpful…

Look up LIONS MANE not exactly magic mushrooms but an antioxidant.Yes and Vit D3. A therapeutic dose though if you are deficient. It is worth finding out what the level actually was because NHS has such a wide range and you may be only just above the point. So they class this as normal!

Omega 3 fish oil is also good for the nerve cell membranes unless you eat a lot of oily fish.

And a good multi with high vit B levels never goes amiss.

The NAF website, US equivalent of Ataxia UK has recommended supplements for ataxia sufferers.

Unfortunately I have yet to come across a specific vitamin or supplement that helps with balance but looking after our general health has got to help.

Do a full blood test before launching any Vitamin program. Excess Vitamin D, Iron, E, can cause health issues and magic mushrooms can lead to kidney failure. Eat well is a better idea

Yes I can see where you are coming from but anything that helps when you are desperate. As yet the doctors have not come up with anything that helps!

You may be desperate, but you will soon come to the realisation that nothing actually helps. Go to GP and get a referral to a mental health professional to assist with your feelings. Has helped me.
