I have been on a waiting list and have now first appointment on Monday to be assessed and see if they can help. I’ll let you know how I get on.

I had asked my consultant to refer me in March because before I got ataxia I had a SAH 11 years ago and planners and post its etc really helped but unfortunately writing now with ataxia has become very difficult. So I’m hoping they can suggest a few new strategies 🤞.

Oh and I’ll let you know how the tricycle goes I should get it delivered next week.

Love and hugs you have all helped me so much

Good luck. You're still young enough to exercise and manage your energy. X

Good luck. Writing has become difficult for me too - didn't realise it could be associated with ataxia x

Good morning Sea

These appointments I think do more good than people think as it gets you out of the house, moving the body and meeting people and if you’re like me something to eat and drink 😊. So good luck, think positive and all will be well.

Stay safe and be happy x

Hi, hope everything goes well for you on Monday. What type of tricycle did you get, I was looking at those once over, sounds fun.

I’m very lucky that I was an holistic therapist and became a psychotherapist as the knowledge has been instrumental in how I have coped with ataxia. Therefore I highly recommend and encourage you to take this up.

Good luck and with the trike. Nigel

Sorry to.put the mockers on things but I was assessed then had some "talking therapy". Gave up when the therapist said I was lucky! A patient she spoke to had lost a limb!Needless to say I did not make any more appointments. Can only assume that a zoom call does not take in what effect ataxia has!!!

Am seeing a great neuro physio though.
