Learned of it on this site. It looks amazing. Thinking about flying all the way across the pond to try it because it's not available in the states. For those who aren't aware of it, here's a video. Mind you, this woman has MS but it looks to be very similar in symptoms to Ataxia.

Enjoy. :)

I am intrested to hear you're story. If the suit is going to help you or not. I had seen it when first diagnosed but did not have the confodance to fly out to Germeny myself. Thank you for bringing it back to my attention.

It seems that the Molli Suit use's a varierty of electrodes to stimulate muscels, you then can use you're body for a period of time after a stimulation session. Seams vauge to me. However, the suit seems like it aims to harness stochastic resonancing (introducing noise to a closed circuit to increase clarity). - The same as Lycra garments and Axial weighting - . That does have some mixed review, but anyway! Ataxia is slightly different to MS because, Ataxia only or is just a word to describe poor muscle coordination, where-as MS refers to autoimmune response. The response in MS will cause immune Lympth cells to attack and damage neurons and in 4/5 case's, cause Ataxia. Although correct me if I am wrong, but I think that is the basics.

So, I would take the Molli Suit with a pinch of salt but im not saying don't do what you want. Just giving you informed advice so you can make an informed decision. Good luck to you whtever you choose.

Thank you for the reply. There are options to trial the suit, but I agree the evidence is a little thin.

I was diagnosed with Ataxia a few months ago by a Consultant Neurologist. He explained it in computer terms as 'the softwares working but the hardware isn't'I'm unsure how this suit works or if it would help in Ataxia symptoms, although I agree that the symptoms are very similar to MS.

Am in Australia, saw your post, went off and checked it out here. They took a video of me that was assessed by the German people. Took medical details, I have SCA2. They came back to me and advised the suit would make no difference. It could only be used to tone the muscles and provide suppleness. My massage person achieves this for $100 a session. I have a massage once in 10 days, works well for me in helping me walk. They wanted to charge $600 per week Mollii suit rental. Purchase price $20,000. Convert to your currency/prices based on cost of remedial massage.
