Hello everyone,

I have not written for ages, but being following the posts. I have a question ....I don't know if it is related to ataxia or not ... Maybe any of you can shed light ...

I have SCA1 for 7 years and live in London, UK - on Saturday I was reading a book - I can't read - the letters dance and my eyes water - so I listen on Natural Reader App. - I listened for 20 minutes and I could not understand anything - I did same on Sunday and could not understand anything.

have any of you encountered the above situation? is it normal degeneration in ataxia?

Please give me your thoughts

Thanks

Amynah

Hi, I have the same problem at times, I called it brain fog. I like people to explain things to me if I do not understand. I do not have a definite diagnosis yet for my problems. Sometimes I find it hard to listen too my mind seems to drift, not sure if that is stress. Best wishes

Suzie
