Bamboo socks tip

I know this may not sound very exciting but I wanted to share this .... I recently bought some ankle socks made of bamboo and they are brilliant. They are easy to put on, soft and very comfortable. I now may throw out my other ankle socks as they are such a struggle.

I just went to Amazon Don and I paid £6.00 for 3 pairs. Give it go bur most high streets sell them. I got my husband some, they perhaps wear out quicker but they are worth the comfort and ease. x

🙂 I bought mine at TKMAXX. After problems with painful toes, and a strange ‘ridge’ appearing across my big toes, a Podiatrist advised me to wear socks inside out. Apparently, it’s the seam on socks that can cause problems in ‘snug’ footwear..She also said wide ‘box fronted’ shoes were a good option..

I have to wear a canvas shoe with velcro fastening, I cant tie laces anymore, the only time I wear a proper shoe is my highly polished black toecapped shoe is when I go on parade with fellow Military Veterans, and yes I still go on parade, even though I’m 75!

I buy elastic shoe laces , they are fantastic. You can replace the laces on any shoes with them , then you just pull the shoes on and the laces stretch, you never have to undo or do them up again.

My problem Happy, is getting down to put my shoes on, so a quick flip with velcro fastener is easier. 😀👍

I am unsteady bending down but can just manage shoes with a long handled shoe horn. 😘

I totally agree, they are so soft and you need to look for other things with Bamboo in them, keep comfy!

Carole(Staggy) This old man is way past the point of worrying about wether they look pretty, so long as they do the job...... but I can understand you pretty young ladies want them to look nice! 😀🌞😘🌹

Me too, I won't wear any other socks, except very soft bed socks. The 'soft top' ones are really lovely to wear and don't dig in. If it is very cold, two pairs are bliss. They dry overnight in the airing cupboard or on a radiator in winter. Here is what I usually buy- I always buy men's as I hate constriction, no I don't have big feet! sockshop.co.uk/products/gen...
