Hi Em,

I have been considering getting one. I have no family, on my own and I go out on my own. I often thought: if I fall nobody will know what to do or what's wrong with me. I will buy a plain necklace from the jewellers and on the square for description will have to go to the local engravers. They can engrave what I want. I've never seen any 'bracelets/necklaces' for us lot. It's always diabetics that can get them. I'm not sure if eBay would have anything

Jean my lovely, go on ebay as there are loads of bracelets/necklaces and they do free engraving as well..... I was looking on eBay yesterday.....just type into the search box....Medic alert bracelets. 🌺🌸🌹👍😀

Hey Don! I got a necklace tag with two chains so can use either. I’m amazed at the quality. Now when I go out I won’t feel so vulnerable. Thanks

Yes there should definately be some sort of id badge for us ataxians as people wonder whats wron with you and don't like asking.

I got one for my granddaughter to wear on her wrist.from Amazon. its like a locket.You write on it yourself what medical conditions you have and any other info that might help.Sure gives me peace of mind when she is out alone .
