Has anyone speech deteriorated quite quickly within a year. My mil seems to have going to do more blood tests to see why . How would blood tests help x

Unfortunately yes my speech has gone terrible.

I have a lovely speech therapist and I am not talking enough so I try to say anything I can remember like nursery rhymes, the alphabet, days of week, months of year etc.. Her other tips are to have the radio on and repeat sentences. Singing is hard but your favourite songs are good to try and sing with.

If not afraid of devices you can get aids also my kids found me an App for my iPad.

I choke quite a bit if my muscles get weak. I use thickener in my drinks - I like Thick and Easy x
