I have just had Physiotherapy.Back to bed!!

Has anyone else come across this from Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome combined with already having Epilepsy?I have been out of hospital since Oct.Memory span 0.So far broken ankle broken toes and nails no feeling in two fingers and worst thing can't write or remember simplest of things adding up pins etc!!Give me hope!!

Dear Bella-40, I'm sorry, but I've never heard of Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome. I have Sporadic Cerebellar Ataxia (unknown cause, progressive, symptoms 24/7). Physio should be helpful, just do the best you can! My best to you...,;o)

I wish I had!It's an acute reaction to neuroleptics (rare)But I got of lightly!!It shutdown all dopamine to your brain.I.E.Blood supply causes a high fever In my case seizures they couldn't stop(I was epileptic before)I was throwing up blood.It can cause all your organs to shut down.So I got of lightly?I don't worry about the balance getting used to it!!But memory in ruins short term can't write numbers or letters illegible!Can't sleep at night.But managing adding up?Gone!Cant even remember PIN numbers loose everything (I don't have neurosis?)My family are left with this to deal with.I worry for my son he is 8.And elderly parents caring for us both!IMy speech has changed?I am not aware!But I was swearing a lot now I mumble caugh?And don't realise!I have blood tests all the time am covered in bruises and psoriasis (mainly up legs on a ton of vitamins?)
