I have cerebellar ataxia and also have a cochlear implant. Unfortunately I lost my BAHA hearing aid. I do miss it. Shortly after I had the implant surgery I was diagnosed with Ataxia. Not sure if this was coincidental or not but being diagnosed wit ataxia was a bit of a shock.

I also had a cochlear implant 6 months ago and just recently established care with someone new and on neuro exam showed evidence of ataxia. Ataxia is common right away after cochlear implant and I had it really bad so it may not have completely resolved.
