There is a related post - 'I believe it helps'. See the top of this page.

The post refers to Hemp Oil which is not illegal, and is readily available.

I haven't tried it myself 😊xB

yes I eat the concentrate/oil in the form of butter. Therefore i make biscuits with it. It really helps my contracted muscles to decontract. My neurologist completely agrees with it for us, however unfortunately it's still illegal! It's written that I use it in my medical records though.

Dear Raymonda12, I recently ordered hemp oil online (legal), but have yet to try it. Can't hurt, may help my ataxia (if not my ataxia, there's other benefits to taking it, so I figure it's a win-win either way...,ha!). Actual cannibus is illegal here (State of Michigan - USA) accept for certain medical situations. I've never investigated for my type of ataxia, so I don't know if I'd even be eligible to try it or not. My best to you..., ;o)

Yes, I'm from California where medical cannabis is legal. I use the pill form everyday when I'm done with the my physical therapy for the day. It is the best pain relief. Far better than Norco or acetaminophen or aspirin. Much safer as well. It also helps with muscle relaxation while trying to sleep.

Thanks for the replies February and cubsfan.

We got crazy laws in this country, where people who use it coz it helps you with the illness your suffering from.

They would rather you go out and have to buy it from a street dealer, and if your unfortunate to get caught they want to call you a criminal.I hope one day it will be available here on prescription.

I have done lots of research and I'm going to try it,hopefully stop the spasms in my back and be able to get a nights sleep.and if I do happen to somehow get caught I could tell them to walk a mile in my shoes before you call me a criminal.

Will post results.

I tried Canabis in a cigarette and I just floated and slept like a baby so yep, it worked for me. The only thing I would recommend is to make sure you're in bed or something as it worked so quickly.

A fun afternoon 😀😀
