I sleep much better on my own, my husband snores loudly, so it suits

us both :-)

SCA makes me restless, I wake up with pain in my leg or I have to get up

to go to the loo. We had so many arguments over the snoring, that one

night I couldn't stand it any longer, I got up and slept in another room!

Our relationship is better now that we can both relax and sleep, but I

dread going on holiday, the snoring penetrates earplugs :-) xB

I have sleep apnea (snore and stop breathing when asleep), so I use a C-Pap machine when I sleep (many people with ataxia also have sleep apnea for some reason ?). Therefore, although my mask leaks air at times making noise, my husband and I are sleeping much better. I do get up a couple times each night to use the bathroom, but so does he (I attribute that to our ages, 61 and 63...,ha!). I don't know how much I toss and turn though, as my husband has not complained about that!
