Hi Linda
No question is a silly question. Cerebellar ataxia is a neuromuscular condition.

Hello Linda, Glad you asked this question, as ataxia can be confusing! My answer is the same as Harriet's...,cerebellar ataxia is a neuromuscular condition. My best to you and your son...,;o)
I find this interesting, my seven year old son was transferred from the neuromuscular team to the neuro team a few years ago, however his neuro consultant is a movement disorder specialist.
i'm confused as to why my son has had no input from the neuro muscular team ever. It's a question i will be asking his neurologists at next appointment. Whether or not it would have made any difference, i don't know.
