Hi all
I am back on seretide and I'm on a new orange one called flixotide and I was just wandering what is the colour order strength wise
Does anyone know what the order is, I'm just curious to know??
Hope everyone's well

I'm on flixotide, so is my son (though he's on a lower dose).
As a general rule I go by the number, rather than the colour when it comes to the strength of the medication: the higher the number, the stronger the med. I'm on flixotide 250, my son is on flixotide 100 (I think). As far as colour is concerned: his inhaler is a paler orange than mine.
Seretide is a different medication, which is why the inhaler is a different colour (purple, if I remember correctly). It does contain the same steroid component as flixotide (I think it's fluticasone propionate) but it also contains serevent (which the flixotide inhalers don't have).
Hi Emma nice to see you back, hope you are well. Sorry I can't help with the question, but please keep in touch with us all. Take care 😊 xx Bernadette
Flixotide (fluticasone) is one of the ingredients in the seretide combi inhalers, didn't think they would prescribe both together......unless they want a higher dose steroid without overdosing the laba
