Methotrexate for asthma

Hi,

I was looking for some advice please. I have had asthma since i was 11 (now 32) and it was uncontrolled until the age of 17, i have had no problems since April this year, i have had 12 hospital admissions, 3 to intensive care requiring life support. My medications are

Home nebuliser

Ventolin

Flutifirm

Ciclodensonide

Ipatropium bromide

Mantelukast

Fexafenadine

Prednisalone 40 mg

Esomperazole

Carbocystein

Morphine

Anti emetics

I was just wondering whether anybody is taking methotrexate as my consultant is keen for me to start this, and how do you find it.

My name is Lou. I have been on methatraxate for 6 weeks at 12.5mg a week. The only problems i have is i feel sick for2 days after taking it

Methatraxate also makes me more prone to bruising. I also take folio acid every day except the day i take methatraxate. Consultant said folio acid helps reduce problems. The anti sickness tablets i take when i need to work really well.
