Mucus from one lung

Hi there

I've been having real bother with mucus coming from one lung, sometimes clear, sometimes yellow ( when I can get it up from the wheezy bit). Had it for more than a year and a half, it appeared after having my daughter who got pertussis, I got the cough then a couple of really bad chest infections, now I get regular chest infections and congestion s. I was already on symbicort and salbutamol beforehand which worked pretty well. Had 2 clear ct scans so not bronch, which is a relief. I go through phases of taking more meds but it just doesn't seem to go, and sometimes is pretty bad, coughing up lots of blobs. Fed up, pulled muscle in my chest coughing and got blood from epiglottis coughing up. Must have had a course of antibiots every month on ave over that time. Want it to go, has anyone had this, any idea what it is? Consultant ruled things out but nothing in...
