I love it Jandan!

I'm not sure that I could manage two minutes.

So true. There was a great band at a party we went to recently, playing all my favourite oldies. I was itching to get up and dance with the rest, but had to keep reminding myself that last time I forgot myself and joined in, I managed just 2 minutes on my feet - and only lasted that long because I was too stubborn to sit right back down again after only 30 seconds!

I CAN RUN! too the front door if the Pizza has arrived or if my wife is angry with me but as for 2 minutes, only in my dreams when I'm chasing a young blonde. Ha Ha

I can just about walk for two minutes let alone run, often wonder what I would do if some one was chasing me but then who is ever going to want to chase me.

lol libby...I think the same.

I have just read a James Herbert book where the hero's are being chased up 10 flights of stairs by zombie like people.

I can't even manage my 5 flights to my flat without stopping at least 3 times and that's at a slow walk!

If I was in the position of those characters my philosophy would be...sod it....let them catch me lol

Hi jandan,

Are you able to get out and about? I ask because I've just been told I will have to change from my usual oxygen to liquid oxygen which will restrict my outings to 2 hours, do you use oxygen?

Thanks Liz

Hi Liz

I am one of the lucky ones and I am not on oxygen so sorry I can't help you but I am sure there are several here who can give you good advice on usage. Why don't you put a question up

I'm on liquid oxygen and it really depends on flow rate, and whether you use pulsed or constant flow as to how long a tank will last. Pm me if you think I can help.

Hi Tina,

I am on 5 litres at the moment but oxygen physiotherapist says I should be on 6 or 7 which is worrying me as I've only been using oxygen since last August and I'm wondering what if I need more and more, oxygen only goes up as far as 9 litres ! I will be on constant flow which I prefer.

Thanks Liz

I use liquid oxygen 2l/min on demand when I am on my liquid tank continuous on the concentrator in home, I can go out for about 6hrs, no problem. You can buy portable concentrators which have spare batteries which last about 8hrs but they cost about £3000 refurbished are about £1000 I think, out of my price range I'm afraid. Keep smiling.

Hi Carole,

Thanks for that I seem to be getting different info from my physiotherapist you've given me hope.

How long is 2 mins (I know 2x longer than 1). I can't run I'd trip on the O2 pipe! Then get stuck on ground like stranded whale, flapping and puffing uselessly. Oh what picture!:)
