I go for a healthy diet with lots of fresh ingredients, I always eat loads of raddish as I once read they have a natural antibiotic, but no idea if that is true. I eat onions and peppers and citrus fruits and plenty of green leafy veg, I don't personally go for the supplements I like to look for the good foods, I like to have lots of different colours as I am sure you get a bit of everything that is good for you that way, although the healthy foods seem to go up in price every time I buy them. I swear by porridge too, you can add fruits or dried fruits, plus I drink lots of water, Rest a bit and move a bit. But that is just me. Hope you feel better soon.

I find Aloe Berry Nectar, a rich drink, an excellent tonic for my lungs. I first started taking it when a friend mentioned Aloe was good for the immune system. I was suffering regular infections at the time (over a year ago) and the drink was fantastic as they stopped completly. Makufa honey (for me 5+ is fine) is wonderful for immune system too.

Hi Meg_1950,

I do hope that you will soon feel better, and to help your immune system, I suggest a really healthy diet-as much fresh food as you can, lots of vegetables and fresh fruit, dried fruit made into a compote, whole grains, and pulses, healthy soups etc- foods in the low GI range- all fab food. Some gentle stretching releases tension held in the muscles and joints and releases the energy held there for you to use. Take exercise and fresh air if you can? Relaxation helps to boost the immune system, true relaxation I am talking about here and perhaps meditation?

Use hand sanitiser when you are in public places, eh, rail and bus stations, GP surgeries and

Hospitals, anywhere where there are lots of people who be transferring viruses and bacteria.

You don't need to be squeaky clean, but generally cautious around germ laden areas.

Think healthy- yay!
