I think my gp said I have alpher 1 after a blood test for it.I have to wait ten weeks to see a consultant at my local hospital.I am considering going to my gp to see if my gp will refer me to Birmingham adapt.or one off private appointment to find out more.Its frustrating having to wait ten weeks when I am worried about my children's futures.also my family will want answers too.

It really is hard to wait to find out more about your condition especially when you are worried about your children aswell.

Firstly i would suggest speaking to your GP - asking for more information on the blood test you had and also explaining to them you are worried.

I have followed the advice for a blood test and now the same waiting for two weeks. Must be harder when testing from August 2012 blf.healthunlocked.com/blog... two weeks does not feel that bad in my case.
