Having a shower and washing my hair is very hard, we have a wet room and a chair to sit on but I find it difficult because I have to wash my hair from the back, can't breathe with the spray on my face and it means keep moving the chair. I am thinking of getting a shower stool with a revolving seat, has anyone got one?

Anyone got a shower stool?
Whilst I am unable to answer your question - the revolving stool for the shower seems a great idea, and worth looking into!
Have a revolving stool made of plastic tubing care needed if not tipping off when turning, the budget item would be avoided knowing what I do now.
Can I send it from AUS?? xxx
Thanks Wendells I can get one off ebay but I just wanted a bit of feedback before I bought one. Hubby uses chair but it is too heavy for me to move around.
polly xx
There are some nice hard plastic chairs (not the cheap ones) that are quite light, and easy to manage, but not to light, that you'd fall off! Mine has arms on it, and I find it a real blessing, on my "puffed out" days. xxx
Yes I have a stool with a revolving seat, it also has adjustable legs so you get the right height for you and good rubber feet so it doesnt move in the wet area. Would not be without mine as I foundd bathing difficult we got rid of the bath and installed the shower and I didnt want the disability look about it. I purchased mine from the Ability Superstore online, they were very helpful and was delivered within 48 hours, would recommend them for all sorts of "helps". Good luck with getting something to help.
My local mobility store stocks different ones that you could try out in the shop.I got a perching stool for use in the bathroom free through Occupational Therapist at the hospital. You could try either of those
