Any aqueous [water-based] cream like E45, according to she who must be obeyed!!
I have not heard that before and I have been on oxygen since 2006 !
I use any make-up I choose.
the only thing they specify is not to use those sort of creams or especially Vaseline inside the nose.....Ky jelly is recommended for that as oxygen dries up the nose which a lot of us find uncomfortable.

I was first told not to use any as my skin is very dry I have Sjogrens and Hypothyroidism but my GP was unable to obtain a good moisturiser even with the help of the local chemist that does not contain liquid paraffin, I was also told not to use vick or vaseline..but now they have said I can use KY jelly for my lips and nose but to be careful not to block my oxygen tube.
Hi Poppin
We recently had a nurse adviser from an oxygen company in and he advised to speak to a pharmacist first - using any oil based products can interact with the oxygen and cause burns.
E45 does contain oil so this would unfortunately be unsuitable, aqueous and KY Jelly - but definitely check with a pharmacist.

Thank you, I will see what I can find at the pharmacy
Try Salcura - you can get a free sample on their website for just £2 p & p. It seems to be non-greasy and they also have a spray type. I liked it as it meant I didn't have to get greasy sheets but it may not work for everyone.
