I wasn't aware of her being on the board, but it's public knowledge she is a supporter of BLF - blf.org.uk/Page/Our-supporters

Dame Judi Dench is one of the Vice-Presidents of the BLF. She does a lot of work promoting the work of the BLF and helping to fund raise.
Her role as a vice-president means she does not sit on the Board of Trustees.

It is surprising who is associated with BLF it is a pity though that some of the "high" profile people don't join us on here occasionally though especially when we could do with a morale boost - but don't hold your breathe! 
They could always use an pseudonym like the rest of us then put their real first names on the post again like us "ordinary" mortals
