A late night last night, so a late start this morning. We had a great time and the menu was:

Starter: antipasti with olive breads

Main: Jamie Oliver's lamb lollipops with spiked humous (absolutely lovely)

Dessert: baked nectarines with amoretti and creme fraiche.

Its really easy Jackie. Cut the nectarines (or peaches) in half and carefully remove the stone.

Place in a dish and add a small amount of brown sugar into each half nectarine (about half a teaspoon) Put a very small knob of butter on top, then drizzle a little amoretti (or Brandy, Tia Maria etc) into each half nectarine.

Cook for 20 minutes at 200 degrees (Fan 180). Serve with ice cream, creme fraiche or cream.
