Woke up to about 2 ins of snow in Shropshire raining a bit now although looks as if it might snow again. Daughter No. 2 text from manchester - snowing there. So that's it I'm hibernating.

I hibernated yesterday!!! Snow today in Herts - reckon I could be quite safe on my buggy - scarf across mouth. All the best for an early spring, libbygood xx

Yorkshire - I woke up to a light, patchy covering but it is snowing again now. It looks beautiful. x

Snow on cars parked overnight but wet underfoot. Very grey. You are braver than me Annie. My buggy is tucked up under its cover and that's where it is staying today! Breathing difficult today so will turn blind eye to housework for now. Good book and hot drink - bliss!

SNOW!! What a wonderful dream in our 40+ heat,cant get any rain,let alone cooler temps.! Fires are still burning, some out of control,but I think they have a better handle on it now.The smell of smoke, still lingers,hot humid days are bad enough, but the nights are the worst.It is relentless at the moment.Although according to the forecast,we will cool a bit, for 3 days, but then go back to the same.So happy days! So as you are trying to keep warm,I will be trying to get cool.What a funy world,

I think we need to meet somewhere half way. around 20 deg sounds about right. I don't envy you as I just can't stand the heat and 40 deg would blow my pressure cap.

It snowed here and settled but its raining now. I'm working in Manchester tomorrow, so it can stop it up there!

It has settled properly here in Yorkshire now and is still snowing. It looks like it is in for the day. As I said, it looks so beautiful - shame it is so damn cold!
