sore under ribs

for a few days i have been very sore and painfull just below my ribs and when i bend over or stretch too far its as if something sticks out a bit like golf ball sized lumps im not sure if its mussel can this becaused by the copd

I can't really answer Mrsagro, but I think you ought to have it checked out at your doctors.

I agree with Lynne get it checked out .I think copd can cause this but when I had it I was sent for scan to see if it was gallstones.xxx

Yes I concur get it checked! If you have read my last couple of blogs you will know I have just had a bit of a scare thinking I may have a hernia fortunately it was not but it was checked with 24 hours so docs must consider lumps where they shouldn't be to be important

Sounds like a possible hernia to me but I am no expert. I agree DOCTORS!
