Looks like you're getting more than your fair share of bad luck at the moment hawthorn :(

Sincere condolences on the loss of your sister and all good wishes that things improve for you in the very near future.

I am really sorry to read your blog. It seems that life can throw everything sad and bad at the same time. Are you on your own, because you wont be on this forum. I am wondering that if you contact BLF, that there would be somebody you could have a chat and all the friendly people in this forum.

Getting rid of the car can be traumatic but there will be alternative modes of transport depending on where you live. Your health isn't good at the moment but with care, you could work your way through that. Bereavement is hard, but counsellors can advise. dla - you should get advice about that. Cant say much there.

Will end with the thought that you needn't feel alone -- all the very best from Annie80

At the risk of sounding rude dont let the Ba*%$£ds grind you down. We had to give up our car 2 weeks ago and it was like losing a leg... :( . Losing a loved one is never easy no matter when it happens and I really feel for you right now having not long lost my mother. I do draw great comfort from using this site, we are after all in the same boat so to speak.... :)
