My go thinks my breathlessness is due to the hh pressing on my diaphragm,I had an awfull breathless attack on fri outside ,I'm scared to go out now it was terrifying,iwent to hospital everything ok xcept a minor heart block showed up on ECG,they said it was nothing to worry about,???

I have bronchiectasas, hiatus hernia and asthma. Interesting to read about breathlessness. I have always blamed my lungs. I do get heartburn and acid reflux if I eat unwisely. My emoprozale was changed to other medication recently (conflicting med.) The acid can affect the lungs apparently.

I was on lansoprazol,which I was fine on.then it got changed to omeprazol,had my gp check me out today,ECG fine ,chest clear,weird,iv to go back in 2wks if no betterperhaps il ask to go back on lansoprazol !,

Like you I am on lansoprazol, I had acid build up so much it was affecting my stomach,I have found that I can eat anything without fear of acid. If you know it works go back to it.

Yes I think u r right,it could be an expense thing couldn't it?iv not felt good these last couple of weeks,my pulse is over a100,not usual for me,iv been on lansoprazol for a while and it worked fine for me

I use Lansoprazole too, which works most of the time. After talking to my nurse I use Gaviscon Advance after meals when the acid is really bad and it works every time.

Hi meg , why has your doctor not got this on prescribtion, if you don't have to pay for your pills, or do you have to pay?
