The winter duvet is now installed with the help of my daughter the uneven wrestling match putting it in the cover is complete without my breathing getting to fish out of water status.
Toasty winter nights snuggled up under it will make it a terrible task getting up and out on chill mornings.
I love a nice warm duvet but as you say changing the cover is always difficult, my hubby and I manage to change the sheets on Tuesdays, thats when the lady who does a bit of cleaning comes she and she puts the duvet cover on in two ticks. Oh to be young and fit 
Don't know what I would do without her.

Wrap up warm but keep the rooms you are in warm cold air always makes me feel bad with a cold nose if bedroom is cold, look after your lungs
I have a crafty way of putting a clean cover on the duvet - turn cover inside-out, reach inside and attach each corner of the cover to the duvet using a clothes peg, one in the middle helps, then gradually pull the cover up over the duvet - it can take a while but it works most of the time. Mind you he who likes to think he's obeyed always goes mental with me for not asking him, it's my stubborn streak and when I can't manage I'll ask him.
