Richards oxygen was piped in yesterday and a humidifier was added, well we have had a laugh today as he is just getting used to it, he keeps tipping it up when he forgets it and it screams, then the water squirts up his nose.

Dear Amagran,

My wife has a water bottle attached to her concentrator, which is difficult to keep topped up, how different is that from the humidifier?

The bottle attached is the humidifier Meade. A bottle with a max/min level on the side for distilled water.

Oh please be careful with water in the tubing and cannula. If it gets up his nose and into his lungs it can cause infections. I've had to call them out twice in a couple of weeks because of the same thing, the technician has to come out and change the tubing. If the water goes into our lungs it has no way of coming out. I dont mean to frighten you and Richard but do take care
