So pleased for you, spend it on something nice for yourself..... nice to know they believe us sometimes. I'm just waiting on appeal forms like so many on here I was deemed fit enough to not need it so into battle I go lol!

Hi can anyone answer me are those us who suffer COPD entitled to free parking pass, I send off for forms but it cost €35 and if I dont get it,I loose my money, yep lose it,

times we cant get parking and I do get it hard to walk,so now I dont bother, thanks xxx

It would be better to ask questions in a separate topic, so people can answer without hi-jacking someone else's blog, but...

There is no guarantee that COPD alone will entitle anyone to a parking permit. The guidelines in the UK are that each local authority decides and they all seem to have different rules and qualifiers.

What you have to do is state your case in detail when you apply, make sure the person reading about you knows what difficulties you have and try to back it up with evidence, copies of letters from a hospital consultant for example.
