Is there anyone there who is computer literate enough to answer my question please. Don't know why but have lost the top and bottom of my internet and hotmail, including my tool bar. Have had a fiddle to find answer but am stumped! Am getting very harrassed by it all. Is there an easy way of doing this please? Bev x

Hi nothing to do with illness but the vagaries of the computer.
Press the F11 key - this goes between 'full screen' and regular mode, it's the usual fix for these kind of symptoms
If not, need a bit more info on what exactly is happening please.
If F11 doesn't work then right click in a space in the top bar. The top bar should appear when you move your mouse up there. A drop-down menu will say " exit full screen ". Click that and all should be ok.
Try a fantastic operating system, that's completely free:

Ouch Dave! - many people on these blogs are not that computer savvy and would not want to risk a massive change of operating system like this.
It is an option I've considered but had to reject as I've too much legacy stuff that relies on Windows. To install Ubuntu alongside just seemed a waste as I would be far too lazy to want to log out of one to go into the other...
Been surfing trying to find one Davybaby - thats what was frustrating me! x

I tried dual booting for a while Gordon, but Windoze was childish and wanted the pc to itself; there was no contest so we are now a Windoze free household!
