Got to correct some incorrect information I saw in an earlier blog below. Disability Living Allowance is a benefit that is not means tested and can be applied for by anyone who has a disability that affects mobility and the ability to care for themselves. So being in employment does not exclude you from applying for this benefit, and should not effect your ability to receive it.
This means that as result you can pay for example the additional costs of travel to work because of mobility issues. And also enables the employed to maybe work less hours without suffering financial hardship.
