Oh boy sat relaxing last night when i did a very slight cough. As usual tissues had to be involved. To my surprise looked down and instead of the normal findings i was presented with red liquid,do i need to say more?. Compleately panicked ( which is totally out of character ) this had a disastrous knock on effect. Before i knew it im at local hospital with entire family (omg). I'm ok after being poked and prodded for hours. Apparently my idea of test and relaxation is alot different to everyone else's . What a drama queen. By the way im writing blogs and giving feedback all the time but im not sure im doing it right. This is my first time using the net believe it or not so i appologise to all if my feedback isnt reaching you. Love to you all Bb.

BB - for a first timer you are doing better than I did - i got a round of applause at work when i turned the computer on !!!
glad to hear your OK - it must have been really scary for you and your family
xxxxx
scarey for you and family !
what did hospital say was the reason ?
i have copd , not had this nastyhappen yet .
Richard has had the blood thng a few times, and had scans to rule out things, he was told its probably the cough rupturing little blood vessels, but always better to be safe and have it checked out. xx
A very scary thing to happen BB, but you did the right thing in going to hospital. It's happened to me a couple of times, and have been told that the sheer strength of the cough ruptures blood vessels . The same thing must happen when I sneeze as there is invariably some blood on my tissue afterwards.
Peter also had the blood thing once and that is how he found out, in hospital, that he had copd. I had wondered but we had it confirmed almost 2 years ago now. He has had sarcoidosis for 21 years which causes scarring on the lungs and airways so that is why he now has copd. He does well though and has positive mental attitude which he is very proud of and will tell anyone about! Hope all is ok with you and know how your family must have felt. Bless you all xx
Thanks for everyones concerns and feedback. Truly means alot Bb.
