Is it working ?????

Last time my concentrator was serviced they changed it for a new one that is so quiet that it is hard to tell if it is working. It is hard to sleep now without the noise that said it was working away, in time suppose it will become normal like the old one did but now it is really strange.

Hello Bilbo :)

My concentrator is a noisy one too and soooooo warm with the heat that it generates. I find it easier to keep the concentrator in a separate room to the bedroom, that way it doesn't keep me awake. The opposite way around to you !

Either way they take a bit of getting used to, don't they ?

Hello elian one bedroom bungalow nowhere else to put the concentrator when the heat was a problem a fan and top window always open helped. Had got used to the other one for over three years now it is getting used to something new when it was hard to say why sleeping in a quiet room should be so hard to do.

Hi Bilbo

It does take a lot of acclimatising, either way, I know exactly what you mean

persevere you'll get there.

Record the old one an play it back you will never know it has gone

nice one Triffic :) lol

Old one is back with them so no chance of a recording though got to say it is a tempting idea to get my comfort blanket back with that noise whirring away all night.

Radio is a different sound and not the one that gets me to sleep even when it is a late night chat program that is so boring you feel sorry for the people working there.
