I wish that I could shake the hand of the person who took this photograph. It was sent to me by a friend who found it somewhere on the net. I take a look at it whenever I need cheering up and it never fails to lift me. I have posted it before but I don't think anyone will complain about seeing it again. The rhyme you can ignore.
I'm a Northern working dog,
And I don't believe in cute.
If I see a pile of muck
I go and have a root.
I go home rather smelly.
After a day at working hard.
And cos I'm allus peeing
I'm kept out in the yard.
I goes t'pub with boss man
And enjoy a fag and pint.
The boss he's allus coughing.
He gives me quite a fright.
While talking to a pit bull
A reet tough one was he.
He told me that boss man
Had probably got COPD
So to do the boss a favour,
I give my tail those extra wags.
To waft the smoke away from him,
While I'm smoking all his fags.
