Of course! 🤞🤞🤞 xx
I really hope this works for you as I can't tolerate it. I'm trying to find natural things to help with my mucus and coughing such as pineapple juice as its good for a lot of things, gorgeous too. Good luck chook 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Carbocysteine thins the mucous making it easier to get up - it's important to set time aside to do lung clearance.theres info + videos on this in aluk website x
I hope the smaller dose will work for you. Are you a small lady? i sometimes think normal doses of medicines are made for someone built like Hercules. 🤞🤞🤞 xxx
Your gp has been giving you antidepressants so he must think your breathing problems are caused by anxiety. I had Sertraline a few years ago and it made it hard for me to breathe. Unless you need antidepressants I’d stay away from them and take what your respiratory doctor recommends for you copd.
Carbosisteine is to thin Mucus, Setraline is an anti depressant . i take 375mg Carbosisteine and works for me. I don't know why you were prescribed Setraline unless you are suffering from maybe anxiety. I have health anxiety and the Setraline did not agree with me ,made my symptoms worse . For my anxiety I take 0.5mg of Lorazapam which I find ok.Good luck. xx.Sheila
Fingers crossed for you x
more evidence of useless disinterested and discriminatory pharmaceutical prescribers AKA “Doctors “
Hello,
Well your GP is certainly trying to help with all the meds. However breathlessness is a complex ‘thing ‘ and I wonder if you would be better served by a referral to see a respiratory physiotherapist?
I think an assessment by them would be helpful to identify the reasons behind it and offer you advice and treatments to help.
Much breathlessness can be reduced by exercise, mucous clearance, plenty of clear fluids and more.
Alternatively you could call the help line at Asthma Lung UK.
Go well
Pauline
hi l have been on carbocisteine since last year l highly recommend them and l havent had any side affects from them at all
I found too much Carbocysteine made me feel like I was drowning, and certainly didn’t improve my breathing! A smaller dose worked better 👍
