Yes, most of the people who attend my weekly singing group notice a difference, even after only one session.

Hi in uk there are groups called singing for breathing sessions to help with copd and other lung conditions I did a 6 week course on the NHS

There are rock choirs all over the country who always welcome new members ( with a good voice or not)

They are also great fun and sociable . My local one is excellent, meet once a week.

Thanks for the suggestion, though my voice is way outside the acceptable spectrum, in high school singing, the girls on either side of me used to tell me "Please, just pretend..."
