Hi everyone it's a week from hell my sinusitis actin up its still all stuffy tried all sorts I'm feeling unwell in myself I blew my nose slightly and slight blood nothing as such but I'm panicking in case I have a nose bleed like over a year ago it poured down back off throat so I'm quite un nerverd I'm wondering ta nip to boots and see if they give my antibiotics cause they say they can treat odd things not sure

Sorry your feeling unwell chook. Not sure if pharmacist can do that but as for nosebleeds the worst thing is to hold your head back, I'm on my 5th this week and have been pinching soft part of nose and leaning forward, seems to work. You haven't got a rescue pack I take it. I can't have one as my antibiotics are liquid and has to be made up. You could call nhs out of hours. Hope you get the help you need 😉

Hi, sorry to hear your struggling so much, I would ring 111, they can give you an emergency appointment at a walk in centre who can definitely give antibiotics today if you need them x my experience of pharmacies and ear and nose problems has shown me their ability to help is limited by age, ie; you need to be a child under 18 for them to have the ability to prescribe, despite the media advertisements on their ability to help 🤷‍♀️ it could just be where I am (Cambridge) but I'd hate you to drag yourself out when unwell, to discover they can't/won't help. 111 run a very good weekend/out of hours service. I hope you get the help you need and start to feel better soon x N
