Second Halloween painting a Silhouette.

Looking at the subjects I can make out SEVEN film titles - five horror films and one childrens adventure. Can anyone else spot any film titles?

It reminds me of two children’s books I read to my grandchildren: Room on the Broom, and Meg and Mog. Both feature a witch and a cat. I really like this painting. Thank you.

That's a great fun picture, and I love the way you graded the yellow to orange sky behind the silhouettes.

The only one I can think of is 'Dracula Prince of Darkness'. I don't like horror films, but I accidentally saw the end of this when my husband put it on the telly. Great painting- I'd rather look at that than watch a horror film. xxx

Thank you Chris - I don't like Modern horror at all. Dracula Prince of Darkness was an old fiilm with a proper story and good actors.xxxx

Many a happy weekend watching the double bill on tv. Frankenstein but loved Dracula. Very much enjoyed Village of the Damned. They remade it decades later in a series on TV, awful. Horror has lost its way over the years. Too much sensationalism and uncalled for gore. A very occasional good one but few and far between. I still love PD James. The books , the TV series he was such a good writer. Could not beat the Signal- Man , Charles Dickens. Out it would come every Christmas for some years. xx

I don't like unnessessary gore - "^Village of the Dammed" there is another "Children of the Dmmed, same actors I think, just as goo, I think it was first.

A clip from, Children of the dammed on You Tube. xx

Love it Ern, can usually pick which part I like best but I can't with this one they all draw my eye. It's years since I watched a film (last time I went to the cinema was taking my children to see Watership Down😅). The only film I can think of is Wizard of Oz, with the witch on a broomstick. Hope you're doing OK❤️❤️xxx
