Silhouette: Brachiosaurus & Taradactal.

Not been that well for a few day - I was going to do a bigger picture, but that will wait, I painted this Silhouette of the Veggie eating Brachiosaurs and the more fierce Taradactal as I like Silhouette's .

sorry to know you haven’t been well. I hope you’re starting to feel better now? I like the painting. That’s a different one from you. I like the colours! Also I love the prehistoric scene, I like dinosaurs and have got 2 dinosaur rugs as well as other dinosaur-y things around the house. Thank you for sharing 😊

Thank you HungryHufflepuff - I used to paint silhouette type painings on here - A while ago. I am hoping to be ok soon, it's my spine playing up, I doubt I helped dead heading in the garden. My son likes all things dinosaur - I think he thinks I am one lol

The weather was good and I though I would tidy up a bit. Not fair on Anne to do it all - Mind you I went to far, I will survive and be normal soon. I was cheered tonight when new bamboo arrived from You Garden. Thank you HH - I should be better soon.

The silhouettes on the painting are amazing. The black works well on the green background.

Thank you Issy - I have a good painkiller, makes you tired but helps a lot, soon be OK Lack of sleep has not helped. I think.

You have a good eye, Black. Yellow/green and Purple go well.

I just had a rest as I could not paint proper, but managed this, Yes I like names, makes the painting more personal. I have done others like this, but in warm colours. xx

Iam glad you have some good pain killers. Make sure you get plenty of rest, and take it easy for a few days.

I am going to take it easy for a couple of days I have oramorph for the pain. I am not a good sleeper but this week been waking up near every hour. I will soon be back to myself, Sunny Weather tomorrow Izzy, and just 20C where I live, So that should be better, xx

Definitely different Ern but I still like it, all your paintings always cheer me up. It’s hard to not overdo it with a bad spine, I know only too well. Hope with a little rest and gentle physio you’ll be able to move around again soon.

Thank you Wendy - I have done silhouettes before, abour 3 orange backgrounds -Yes I seem to ignore my spine and it hit me back, yestersay I took the full dose of my oramorph and that enabled me to sleep.. Gonna have another easy day xx

Thank you Lupino - I would not like to me those to either. I am on better side, I got a decent sleep and do feel a little better today. I like painting silhouette - You need correct brushes and I use dots to conect twisty bits,

I hope you're feeling better by now. I love the colours of the background- they seem to be blending into each other like the colours they used to project on the curtain in cinemas before the show. It took me back to the Ritz, Bowes Road, North London. Totally irrelevant to dinosaurs. But I was reminded of my friend the bronchiectasaurus.🦕 🙂xxx

Thank you Chris - Getting there - I remember the curtains at the cinama in the 60s. I also remember the Lyons maid - Drink on a sdtick. That was in Lancashire. I and other lad used to be interested in dinosaurs, I think that was becasue of the Flintstones.

Did they sell pineapple ice cream in your cinema? A rare treat, because it is very hard to make. The Ritz closed as a cinema and is now a Jehovah's Witness church. I bet they don't use the coloured lights.

No - I can't remember pineapple ice cream - I remember really good choc ices, the ice cream lollies and the fab drink on a stick . That was the Odeon Cinema, we had another one called the Plaza and three smaller ones - They all became bingo palaces and one now a Little Theater, I used to like taking my youngest to pantomimes . now we have one cinema called Vue . Dance hall also fell to the might of BINGO.
