It’s been an awful summer. My daughter flew out to Naples today for two weeks. She said the temperature difference between here and there is noticeable!
Naples is warm, at times hot. Also a nice place to go, I always wanted to go to Venice, I never got there, always ended up in Spain or Greece, nice and warm though,
It’s too bad you’re still having problems posting your pictures and I know I’ll love to see your sheep and meadow painting, but I have to say I absolutely love this one. It’s Amazing. Thank you for sharing.
I like painting sheep and lambs in meadow HH, and last times hens, I like silhouette also. I have some back up painting from a while ago, but I wish this problem would be sorted.
Hi Ern, hope they get the problem sorted soon 🙄but meanwhile keep posting the 'oldies'. I remember this one from the first posting and it's still as relaxing and inviting as the first viewing😊❤️xxx
A beautiful one at that, my hair is currently the colour of autumn, I brightened it up to make me feel better. Love this work of art Ern just dreading winter.
Wost summer I can remember. As a youngter ever year in summer we had it in the 70s, they would break down with a thunderstorm, and then summer would resume. No it's not much fun being stuck in. xx
Yes I remember the seventies well. Mind the strikes were not much fun. Although we all had fires to huddle around. I do find my central heating a blessing now. Your painting brings back happy memories of a day spent at Westonbirt Arboretum. xx
I liked the sistiesand seventies , Not been to Gloucestershire, but would have liked to have seen the Westonbirt Arboretum, Yes lighting fires in the fireplace, not good was it?, got the draft with Asbestosis, we never knew it was a hazard, worked well getting coal fire going. Cetral Heating much better, xx
Yes your right re Asbestosis. I have a friend who has lung cancer, non smoker and we were chatting about exposure not long ago. In fact now the third non smoking female to be diagnosed of this who are people I know. All around the same age. I remember taking the ash out from the coal fire on a windy day and it all blowing in my face too. xx
