Tested negative a day or two ago. My nasal passage is a bit congested. Is this normal?

Thanks

With the caveat that I'm not a doctor I think it's probably par for the course. I too am in the after effects of covid. Been negative for over a week and was thrilled that it wasn't too bad. Now though my sinuses are completely blocked with nastiness (I can just smell it), the pressure causing g headache. Yesterday I felt dreadful and weird, I actually searched out my old oximeter, was a bit worried when it read 89 then dropping to 82 before my eyes. Luckily it was back up to 96 by bedtime & 97 this morning.

I'm drinking effervescent vitamin c 1000mg daily to boost immunity because I know that the next thing (for me personally) will be a chest infection. I'm also taking steroid nasal spray & will probably get som Sterimar (sterile seawater) for nasal rinse.

Take care. Rest, plenty of fluids and if worried contact your gp.

I am a fan of Vit C and Sterimar. Using both at the moment. Sinus has been bad this year. Hope you feel better soon. xx

Could be hay fever. We've had a very wet spring, and not much cold weather. So it could be that vegetation is sending out plenty of pollen. In August and into October it'll be mould spores. I take a antihystamine every day from Fbruary into October.
