Its grim up north
I agree it varies up north, but like you say its easier to breathe. You must be a bit further north than me I am near Leeds and its 12 degrees.
Have a good weekend. x
๐ฑ๐ฅถ๐ฅถ๐ฅถ Not to bad here on the South Coast. Thinking of my friend in Preston though. Xx
Your friend in Preston will be fine. It's much better for the lungs around here. Remember โn'er cast a clout till May is outโ. ๐๐
It used to be said, March in like a lion and out like a lamb.
Something's gone wrong Don, it not stopped raining in Edinburgh and the bypass, Well, it's a ten mile five foot deep swimming pool!! with naybody gone naywhere awfy quick.. cars and Lorries stuck for over an hour. an nay a boat in site ... I see no ships!!
I live in a village about 9-10 miles from preson and it's been cold, I have two jumpers on, that's how cold I feel Carole. it's near June and so cold. xx
That is cold Ern. My friend is in a place called Fulwood and mentions the rain quite a lot. Hope things warm up very soon xxx
how cold was it yesterday.I lit my log burner and wrapped up in my fleece .Im in Chorley x
Fulwood is quire near where I live, so weather is normally the same. Rain is a problem, we got in garden last week, it was sweltering, then it just dissapeared - I have never seen as much rain as in the last 12 months, it is now cold with it. Thank you Carol I hope so too - It really is gloomy.xx
Fulwood nr Preston Carole.only bout 30ml frm here.lots of rain - I think they get even more in the blackburn-preston.x
Ru under Preston chest clinic too Ern x
Not at Preston, there my BC consultant is, Chest Clinic is Chorley as it's nearer. x
I do have to go chorley at times for contrast lungscan, some lft, and they also do various specialised blood tests there too,for Preston.im under preston due to multiple complex lung diseases, incl biologics, ventilation etc. Do u go preston for cancer care or do chotley do that too x
Oh me too! Back to wearing socks and layers. Can't believe on Sunday my daughter and I were swanning around in floaty summer dresses!!!
Very grey here past few days x
I'm glad I'm down south.
Oh wow what a contrast .I am in the far south we have had lovely weather warm, can be a bit harder on your lungs and sleep. Although a fresh wind has helped whilst walking my dog ,very little ๐ฆ so far but Don't want to jinx it. Hopefully it will get better up north soon
Don`t complain about 11 degrees. We live about 800 miles SOUTH of you, in the Lot department sw france and temp here, albeit before I was out of bed a mere 6 degrees. The sun has now put in an appearance and by midday should be closer to 20, fingers crossed. Have a good day everybody, Chris.
Living in Manchester you would think we would be used to the rain, but can honestly say I have never known it so wet. I think we had almost two weeks of nice weather and got my garden back into shape and the washing done, since then its been back to rain and as you say cold. I put my summer bedding on and sent my winter quilt to be washed and have to bring out blankets. Fingers crossed this will take a turn soon we need good weather to perk us all up and get some of that vit d x
In the Midlands the sun is shining this morning but just at the moment I am wearing a thermal vest under my jumper!
Thank goodness for British weather - it always gives us something to talk about! ๐
I concur. Iโve been so cold the last few days. Winter polo necks back on & the heating!! Brrr!
As my son who lives in the Peak District would say "11 degrees is warm for these parts"๐.
Just glad you can breathe easier. Love and hugs. Jan xxx
Absolutely freezing in Appleton on Thursday when I took my granddaughter to footie. Coaches were wrapped up like itโs winter. I had a fleece on under my raincoat and was frozen too. Nicer today at M29. Xx๐
