LUFORBEC

Hi everyone, last year I was using Foster, but they changed it again and now they are prescribing me Luforbec, which is not the same since now I cough at night and at any time. I feel that it is not the same, sometimes when I go to inhale this one releases multiple puffs from time to time, they changed it for a new one, but the new one keeps doing the same thing and I think my health has deteriorated more since then.

Hi Relieved as my Youngest Daughter Hayley was diagnosed with cancer on 19th December.

She had no symptoms and was a picture of health . It was picked up on a routine smear test which was unusual as it was very rare and where it was does not usually get picked up on the test. The nurse who did the smear went higher than usual and caught just a bit of it.

Taken ages to decide what to do and many scans etc. Hayley and her daughter Darcy turned to the church . They got Baptised on Easter Sunday. She believes the Lord was by her side all the way.

The Surgeon, anaesthetist and the MacMillan nurse all said it was a miracle that the cancer was contained otherwise the surgeon would have had to cut into the rectum to get clear margins. She would have ended up with a Stoma Bag. The lord performed the miracle . The Stoma surgeon was on standby thank goodness he wasn't needed.

Hayley had her operation yesterday morning and the anaesthetist phoned me after 5hrs to say she was in HDU and the operation was a success and the Surgeons got the clear margins he needed. And NO Stoma Bag 🙏

She has a long recovery but is cancer free.

It's been such a terrible few months and news a Mother never wants to hear. I felt absolutely helpless and couldn't help her. A mother should protect her daughter instead Hayley has been looking after me. I need to get off this oxygen and mobile again.

All is well now and we are celebrating.

Never take anything for granted and make the most of every second.

Lots of love sending Welsh cwtches xxSheila ❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏

hi! When I was first changed to Luforbec I couldn’t get on with it very well. I then discovered they had put me onto a half dose. I was gradually going down because of it. I was waking in the morning having difficulties breathing. I complained and they kept saying it is the same as the Fostair I had been on. In the end I got to see the asthma nurse who got me in to see the Consultant. I was put back on my full dose of still Luforbec. The Consultant told me that Luforbec is the same as Fostair, since going back on the full dose of 200/6 instead of 100/6 I am fine. Check that they never changed your dosage.
