Three bright and breezy days in the South Lakes but Easter Monday is grey and damp. Getting to church is difficult now but luckily our parish was showing livestream on U tube since the Covid lockdowns and continues to do so. Happy Easter to all.

Still overcast here, going to cemetery by car tomorrow so hope its dry been putting it off since January due to rain. x

Glad to hear I am not the only one who has to do tasks like washing clothes its the ironing of the odd items that is hard for me . Unfortunately I am not well a trip to the hospital last week made my arthritis worse climbing in and out of the cab sent to bring me home. The step is around nine inches from the floor. I also have to go this week for a PET scan 8.20 am so early rise to be ready for booked ambulance. On the brighter side between the showers yesterday I potted some plants up in tubs. My son bought me some for my birthday so I still keep busy as able. Thank you for reply x

Sorry to hear you have not been well Katie, arthiritis its a pain it really is and dont you just hate those early appointments. I went to the clinic on Thursday last week for an 8.30 appointment only to find it was a telephone appointment grrr should have read the letter properly lol x

The weather today as been like a summers day lovely, went to the cemetery and tidied the grave up . then back home . Went to local shop and got an Azalea for my Easter gift bit big for Easter Eggs nowadays. 😊

Good morning katieoxo60. Well we mainly had a dry Saturday and Sunday. We had rain Sunday afternoon in Shropshire and its raining again today. They had Thunderstorms and lightning down on the south coast. Southampton way Last night. Hope your recovering well. Brian

Brian do you live in Shropshire? My sister has business in Shrewsbury and lives there not far from the town centre. Long time since I was last in Southampton, it was just after I became a widow, when on holiday with my daughter and her husband. Enjoy your day today xx

Yes I moved to Newport Shropshire and then I have moved to Telford in January. I love the Shropshire area. And Shrewsbury. Went to a garden centre on the Shrewsbury Road on Saturday at Roden. About 6 miles from Shrewsbury. Hope your day goes well. Brian

I had a lovely quite weekend, today I am tidying , had the doors open today as the sun is out now looks like a summers day out there. I have the cleaner coming tomorrow to clean the bathroom and spring clean the lounge , then off to the cemetery by car collect some flowers on the way or a plant. Must rest now as the breathing gets a bit difficult. Enjoy your evening xx

Glad you had a lovely weekend. I had screaming grandchildren yesterday so nice and peaceful today. Don’t do too much in one day, try to pace yourself. The sun shining makes us feel so much better. ☀️As predicted it’s now raining here.☔️Enjoy the rest of the day. 💜
