The title may sound strange. I was going to paint a Hobbit Scene. then changed my mind. as to much green.
So I used a picture I did a while ago still in my head and built a Hobbit House at the side of the road.

I really like this.looks such a peaceful spring day xxx
Thank you Pat - Yes I wanted colour, and we get that in Spring. I had a close up, but was blurred xxx
I luv Yr colours and the mountains in the background .its so peaceful,to me.on the right,in front of the house - what is the black& white stripe? My eyes aren't the best,so I got my magnifying glass out - is it a skunk or a frog.xxx
Excellent as always Ern. I do enjoy seeing your paintings.
Had my follow up appointment today at Portsmouth and everything is good thankfully. I will go back there in 8 months and in 4 months time Iβll go back to St. Richards in Chichester. Onwards and upwards. Xxxxβ€οΈπ©·
Good news Carole, really am pleased for you, I don't know when my last BCG will happen, probably about March. Thank you Carole though I would have a go at this, really is a hybrid Xxx
Congratulations! It's so good that all is great. It must be a relief. My friend had the same treatment as you 5 years ago when she was 80 and she is still fighting fit and I'm sure that you will be.
Thank you so much Littlepom, such a relief. Pleased to hear about your friend. Xxx
I'm so pleased for you,Carole xxx
Great news Carole! As you say onwards and upwards π And Spring is nearly here!
So pleased for you π xx
This is such good news Carole, I am so pleased for you x
Hip ,hip, Hooray, Carole! That is good news. It must be a load off your mind, Pete's and all of your family. Take it easy while you're still recovering. Much love to you and Pete, Chris xxx ππβ¨ππππ
Thank you Chris for your kind reply. Peteβs not great at the moment but he was so relieved on my behalf. Hoping things improve for him after the perfusion tests on 5th and 8th March.

Another masterpiece Ern007 great work very colourful and a beautiful tranquil scene
this to me is The Shire in modern times. I love it! I love the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. This painting is how the Hobbits live right now π§ββοΈ π§ββοΈπ§ββοΈ
Hate to admit it LOL-but no idea what a hobbit house is!
Love it Ern x
Thank you lzb1
Aw cute little house and lovely scenery that reminds me of times when my lungs used to behave themselves (π) and I could go on walks with my dogs & friends. Thank you Ern. How are you doing? β€οΈxxx
Hi Nula2 Thank you. I remember the days I had fully working lungs. These days I take everything as it come, xxx.
Yes I am gradually learning to do that. School of hard knock sometimes isn't it. π. Take care. xxxx
It sure is, we get there though. xxx
Yes. A couple of hours ago I decided to try to clear up a puddle in my conservatory (it leaks like a sieveπ ) Fell on to my hands & knees and because of my swollen feet & breathlessness I struggled to get up. Fell over & bashed head on a wooden cabinet! Eventually after several attempts I painfully (for feet) got up no damage done but won't try that again! - Lesson learnt! πxxx
Nothing worse than a fall. Hope you are OK... My last fall was not long ago, I slipped on wooden floor in the night, and bashed my nose on the floor. I have learned..xxx
Ouch Nula π£ I hope youβre ok ?
Ah thank you π. I'm ok but it was scary at the time and had to put up with the breathlessness & pain of bending my feet in the effort to get up - but learnt a lesson! (sending love to the royal sheep π) xxx
The royal family of sheep thank you and send you gentle sheepy hugs πππππ
Another day Nula, are you feeling any better. I have fell three times, shakes us up. xxx
Hi Ern, much better today thank yooo π. And it showed me we have to work within our limitations. Go carefully my friend β€οΈxxx
Take care. I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself this time. xxx
Thank you Alberta, you take care too xxx
i do my best, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before- oops!!
Just what I needed a tough few days. Love it. xx
Thank you Dottie - Sorry about your "tough few days" hope that has passed.
On Monday 08-45 I go for my monthly eye injection. I doubt I will ever be 100% be used to that. xx
I hope that goes ok Ern. Do you have to have the injection every month ?
Thank You -Most months HH - Wet Macular Vision can make lines wavey, and the injection helps reduce the fluid behind the retina. Without the injection I could lose my vision. Cost of the injection is about Β£750 a shot. The injection is nothing, It's the thing they put in eye socket so eye can't be mobile..
No that is a very difficult I am sure. It will be good when Tuesday comes and you can think that is done for another month. Good luck.xx
I'm sure hobbits would never have a metalled road in front of their houses. It would encourage people to drive much too fast. Otherwise it's a lovely sunny painting. xxxx
Beautiful as always Ern. I can just see Gandalf going over the top of the hill in his Reliant Robin! Such lovely colours to brighten up a very soggy and grey Birmingham π. Love and hugs. Jan xxx
Thank you, gosh I once owned a three wheeler car
. More virtual hugs your way. xxx
How does he get Shadowfax in the Robin??? π
Gosh I believe anything was possible in the film - Not seen it be would be special effects you can bet x
π A magical roof rack π!! Thanks for making me smile!! Love and hugs. Jan xxx
So now I know. πππLove, Chris xxx
Should have thought that through Chris. Shadowfax was probably pulling the Reliant behind him!!! π xxx
Thanks Ern. xxxxx
Your use of colors is amazing.
itβs a beautiful view. Somewhere I would like to live.
On my travels years ago I've actually seen similar scenes and it looked great then aswell as in you're painting it's great
Thank you. I have seen not Hobbit but not unlike scenes, not sure where but Mundomar in Spain had the five continents. going back a few years since I was there. I like these kind of pictures myself.
