I have been on Trelegy for copd and Asthma for 2 years and find it suits me. But what is good for me isn't always good for everyone. All you can do is give it a month to get into your system and see if it helps you. Good luck. Brian

Hello Bettz :) Glad the Trelegy is helping you. I was on it for a good few years and it helped me at the time. xx

Trelegy is a triple inhaler and Im glad it's working for you Bettz.

A new consultant (who I didnt like much) suggested I add Incruse Ellipta to my other inhaler (Symbicort, steroids and bronchodilator), and reduce the amount of the Symbicort. I was at first resistant but this new combination has worked like a dream and I can walk further and faster than for years. I have the IE inhaler separately as you take it once a day only, and I can use the Symbicort more if I have any asthma symptoms, though I actually havent needed to. Taking less steroids (in the Symbicort) appears to be lowering my blood sugar which is another blessing.

Triple therapy is a great development, around for a while now, but Ive only last year come across it.

Trelegy is good for COPD and Asthma, but not for bronchiectasis. My respiratory therapist had a fit when she found an Asthma nurse had put me on it.

Oh bless you Bettz, most of us here in Blighty never get to see a pulmonologist, and it's not a foregone conclusion that they would prescribe a med because a patient wanted to try it. Having said that, I think a lot of GPs are open to persuasion.I'm glad you find it useful. Of all the ones I've had over the years Trelergy has been the best. Long may Trelergy work for you 🙂
