AeroChamber Plus

Hello there. I'd like to ask other users of the AeroChamber Plus in England if they are able to order the device on their prescription. I'm also interested in how long people keep the device before deciding that it should be replaced. Thank you.

The asthma nurse at my drs orders a new one when I have my asthma review, which incidentally has been cancelled three times since November!

I used to get mine on prescription but it wasn't very affective for me so I ordered one off of amazon its really good it has a mask that goes over your nose and mouth to help breathe in the inhaler better I'm definitely noticing the difference x

Hi, yes, I had an aero chamber that was at least 10 years old and the rubber was starting to go, I merely phoned my asthma nurse and asked for a new one. I got it the next day. Take care, Maximonkey

I have had mine for several years, I regularly take it apart and wash it, I have also purchased a small one which fits in a pocket so I have one with me all the time.

Thank you all - very helpful comments. I have two which I alternate. I swap every time I start a new inhaler. I don't take them apart to wash so they take a few days to dry out properly. In fact, I only found out quite recently that you can take them apart. The hospital respiratory nurse did give me one but the other came from Amazon. Perhaps I'll try adding one to my prescription request.
