After. The inhalers are to open up the airways to get mucus out. Arobiker then loosens the mucus. They compliment each other

You will probably find that some people do it in a different order if they nebulise salbutamol.to open the airways first. We are all different. It is what suits you but opening the airways before loosening the mucus with the aerobika is the logical way to go.

I use mine after nebulising saline, but before taking my inhalers. If I'm a bit wheezy I might take some salbutamol before I start nebulising. This is the order I was told to use by the respiratory nurse, it was years ago so advice may have changed since. xx

I was told by my physio to do the Aerobika first and then inhaler. She said if you use the inhaler before you will just breathe it out.

You will need to wait for the inhaler to take effect and open the airways before you use areobika.then you won't be breathing it out .But of course if the way you do it suits you thats what matters.

Hi Alice70,

I use AirPhysio to clear mucus and it works very well, but I only use it on an “as needed” basis. I think I would follow the routine advised by the respiratory nurses given in other replies. Good luck to you.
