Another Trimbow fan here, but we are all different. Have you got an aero chamber as well to administer it? I found using that with it really improved both my inhalers.I would also suggest going on the Trimbow website for videos of how to use it. After 20 years on inhalers a slightly different technique made a lot of difference. Good Luck

Areochamber is just one type of spacer. It is also the technique for using them. Slightly annoyed after40 years and GPs in different counties only recently shown improved techniques. as on manufacturers videos on line.

It didn't work for my mum. She tried it for 8 weeks, but found it made her more breathless and wheezing all the time. She's now on spiolto, which seems to be better for her, but she's still getting flare ups. I'm wondering if the clenil isn't doing its job or if she needs to be on low dose prednisone all the time. I'm hoping to get her referred back to the respiratory nurse, though previously they only seemed to be interested in providing oxygen and nothing else.

I am a fan too! I use it with a spacer. Two puffs in the morning first thing and again at 5 in the afternoon which seems to do me fine :)

I do hope you are better soon and all the best for 2024 xx

I use it with a spacer. I was put on it as the only option. I would have preferred Spiolta and Fostair. I think it has caused me to lose weight - unusual - but I've lost weight since being on it and although it is meant to only affect the lungs, I think long term use does affect the bones, from everything I've read. Everyone is different and it is a case of weighing up what is most important to you. I would still rather be on Spiolta, but am fighting a lost cause with my GP and new respiratory nurse! I would have to get referred to the local lung consultant, who was a waste of space on my previous encounters - 3 months to get the results of a scan and if I hadn't asked about the scan, I would have never known - he clearly had not looked at my notes etc., beforehand.

Hi the respiratory nurse trying me on trimbow,. No particular reason I just think they are, trying these, triple inhalers to see if they work better at controlling asthma, and COPD. My brother in law, couldn't tolerate it made him cough more but everybody diff. Still have ventolin as well. The trimbow is a preventer so still use a reliever as, u need. Been advised to use a spacer with trimbow, and rinse mouth out. I will see how it goes
